Find out how to identify your target customers for follow-ups and marketing campaigns by setting targets.
Selecting the targeting menu:
From the OpenFlex Marketing home page, click on the megaphone in the left-hand margin to access the Marketing tab.

Select the "My targeting" menu to view the list of targets.

Two pre-set targetings based on common use cases are available by default. These can be previewed or "viewed, duplicated or exported".
To create a new one, click on the "Create targeting" button at the bottom of the page.

Creating a targeting:
First, give this new targeting a title, then create one or more rules. These will be based on criteria that will allow you to search for the appropriate customers.
Click "Create a rule".

Add a group to combine several filters that will determine the results obtained.

There are many filter categories available to increase the accuracy of your targeting: customers, tasks, appointments, vehicles, incoming lead, opportunities, offer.

Example filtering by vehicle type by adding the condition " is equal to".

In this demonstration, we will only target customers who own a car.

Two methods can be used to refine the results:
- Either by combining several filters that will be cumulative ("AND" condition)
- Or by applying separate filters that impose different criteria on each other ("OR" condition).

Here, we are combining the filters to create a targeting system for leads who own a car with a purchase date before or on a given date.
The latter can be configured in two formats:
- either "Specific date" = calendar date
- or "Relative date" = period to be entered manually

Selection of the relative date in the past, present or future.

Example: searching for vehicles purchased 730 days ago, i.e. 2 years ago.
It is necessary to enter the "-" sign before the period to indicate a past date.

View of this past date in the drop-down menu:

Selecting a specific date using the calendar:

Regardless of the method used, the number of available targets will be displayed at the bottom left of the targeting window (this figure does not take into account negative marketing consents).
To start creating the targeting, click "Create targeting".

Using the targeting:
The new targeting will be added to the existing ones.

Reminder: targetings are dynamic and evolve automatically according to the criteria you have established.
For example, if you create a targeting based on a 3-year purchase anniversary date, the targeting will continue to count customers who reach this milestone each day and include them in the targeting.
On the right-hand side of the table, the number of targets found and the date the targeting was created will be displayed.
Next to this, you will see two buttons for using the targeting:
- clicking on the first one will display the list of targeted leads in a new tab.

View of the list of customers found via targeting:

the second button allows you to view the targeting details, modify, duplicate, export or delete it.

The exported file will be in CSV format.
If necessary, convert the data in the table to EXCEL format by clicking on the "Data" menu, then on "From a text/CSV file".
The result will then be displayed on the screen. To finalise, click on the "Load" button so that the items contained in the CSV file are displayed in XLS format as shown below:
