Save time by mass editing the vehicles location.
Prerequisites:
You must have the rights to edit the synthesis information and technical specifications for at least one type of vehicle, NV or DV or UV.
A maximum of 200 vehicles can be updated simultaneously.
Changes only apply to vehicles stored on the entity to which the user is currently logged in.
This feature will not be available to certain user groups if the 'I wish to restrict changes to vehicle synthesis fields' box is checked in their rights settings.
Selecting this box gives you the right to change locations individually on each vehicle's record.
Please note that the fields are displayed and editable from the "Sales stock" status for NVs and "Physical entry" for DVs and UVs.

From the ‘Vehicles’ module, you can update your stock location information quickly and easily.
With just a few clicks, you can bulk replace the physical location where vehicles are stored, their location, and where their keys are kept.
Reminder:
It is not possible to change the location of vehicles in the following cases:
- If a vehicle has the status 'Exit'.
- This procedure does not apply to vehicles participating in stock auctions.

Once you have identified the vehicles affected by changes of this type, click on the button "Modify" shown below.

Click "Continue" in the pop-up window "What type of modification would you like to make?"

Bulk edit mode will then be activated. A reminder of this will appear at the top of the stock table.
Any previously selected filters will be retained. If necessary, you can add other filters to refine the results.

At the bottom of the table, you will see the total number of vehicles in the list in a box.
To change the data relating to where the information is stored, click on the 'Modify the location' button.
To turn off mass edit mode and go back to the original table, click the cross at the top right corner. This will keep any filters you've added.

You can then change the following information in bulk as required:
- The physical location of the vehicles using the drop-down menu.
- The location where they are stored.
And
- the location of their keys.

If the key storage location is not one of the choices listed in the drop-down menu, it will be possible to add a new one manually.

Once you have made your changes, click "Next".

You will be asked to confirm before the changes are applied. In case of error, you can return to the previous step.

Notifications will appear at the top right of the screen to indicate when the process has started and finished.
Please note that filling in the fields for the vehicle location and keys whereabouts is independent of the presence of a physical location.

Any changes made to a vehicle's record will be logged in its history.
