FAQ-138-VEHICLES-How do I remove multiple vehicles from stock at once?

You can delete several vehicles from your stock in a single operation, using the bulk modification feature of the “Vehicles” module.

Prerequisites: this feature is only available to users with the vehicle deletion right. If the “Deleting vehicles” option does not appear, please contact your administrator.

1) Display the vehicles to be deleted

• From the “Vehicles” module, use the filters or the search bar to display only the vehicles to be deleted. 1
• Check the number of vehicles displayed. 2
• Click on “Modify”. Depending on the width of your screen, this button may be grouped behind the three-dot button. 3

2) Select deletion

• In the “What type of modification would you like to make?” window, select “Deleting vehicles” in the “Type of modification” field. 1
• Click on “Continue”. 2

3) Start the deletion

• The “Bulk deletion mode enabled” banner appears. Only the deletable vehicles of the entity you are logged into are listed. Your filters remain active and you can still adjust them. 1
• At the bottom of the page, the box shows the number of deletable vehicles: all these vehicles will be deleted. To exit deletion mode without deleting anything, click on the cross in the box. 2
• Click on “Delete vehicles”. 3

4) Confirm the deletion

• The “Confirm bulk deletion” window shows the number of vehicles that will be deleted. Check that it matches your selection. 1
• Read the warning: the vehicles will no longer appear in your stock, and any current and confirmed quotes linked to these vehicles will be cancelled. 2
• For 5 seconds, the confirmation checkbox cannot be ticked, to give you time to check. Once this delay has elapsed, tick the box “I understand that … vehicle(s) from my stock will no longer be accessible following this deletion.” 3
• Click on “I confirm the deletion”. If you change your mind, click on “Cancel” or close the window: no vehicle will be deleted. 4

Good to know

• Only vehicles of the entity you are logged into are offered, even if you have rights on other entities.
• The rules are the same as for deleting a single vehicle (see FAQ-100-VEHICLES-How do I duplicate or delete a vehicle?): vehicles that have left stock are not offered, and a vehicle linked to an order cannot be deleted.
• Current and confirmed quotes linked to deleted vehicles are cancelled.
